Great mobile radio mount!

Well made and sturdy mobile radio mount. Fit perfectly on the side of the center console of my 2019 Chevrolet Silverado LST with no need to drill or use adhesives.

Making It Work

Although there was no radio mount that was designed to specifically fit my Kawasaki side by side, I was able to select a radio mount which through some thought on my part, was able to work so that my two-way duel band radio is now installed in my side by side. I will definitely consider purchasing additional radio mounts from Skymo Radio Gear in the future as more radio mounts are needed by me, such as when I purchase another vehicle.

Best thing since sliced bread

This mounting setup is awesome. Fast and easy to install. Easy to remove if i want to hide the radio. Still have full use of the cup holders. Very little/if any movement when hitting bumps on highway. Great job Skymo.

Looks good

Since my radio was quite heavy I added foam rubber under it to prevent any bouncing. Overall very happy.

Will this fit a 2025 Silverado 2500HD

Will this fit a 2025 Silverado 2500HD with the full console? My 2025 looks similar to your photos and video, but I'm not sure if the form of the console side rails are the same. Thank you.

Thanks for the review! Unfortunately, the mount for the 2019-2023 Silverado/Sierra full-length center console is not compatible with the newer trucks. The console design was changed beginning in 2024, and the differences in the console side wall prevent the mount from fitting properly.

Almost Perfect!

I've been waiting for this mount for my Ram. Previously I used the universal mount and it worked but I lost the ability to lock the cup holder section in place. This mount solves that issue and even allows to lock and unlock the try. I did have to add some card board filler to the bottom of the mount under the lock as there was some unwanted play once my radio was attached. I am mounting an SDS200 Uniden scanner which is large and heavy so that may have something to do with it. Other than that I highly recommend this mount!

Fits snug

It does exactly what it says it’s going to do. Fits very snug and secure. Does not impede cup holders. Definitely the no drill solution I’d recommend. In my 2022 i did drill a whole in the pocket on the driver side to run cable through and out to engine via the steering gasket. It’s a home no one will ever see.

Great portable Dual Radio mount

This is a Great non permanent portable Dual Radio mount.
It is very easy to install and seems very well built.
Now I'm waiting for the Tri Radio/Scanner version so I can mount my full size scanner. Alex you guys did a great job on this keep up the good work!

Better Option

While the mount seems to ride up just a little.On the cup holder side from the weight of the radio. I still believe it's a better option than drilling holes. Hardware sent with mount is great.

No holes to mount Radio.

Great mount, you can adjust the radio so you can see the display when driving. The best part is that you can pull the radio out so it's not exposed when you park your truck for a long time. The question I have is: I want an HF rig for long trips and a VHF/UHF rig for around town. I'm thinking of buying a second one for the second radio. Have an in-town radio set up and a long hall set up.
