Fitment Notes

This radio mount fits select 2019-2026 5th gen RAM trucks that have the full-length center floor console with the sliding tray, as shown in the product photos. Note that there are multiple versions of the sliding tray for these consoles and this mount only fits the sliding tray without the cover over the cup holders.

To ensure proper fitment, make sure your console and cup holders match what is shown in the photos.

Description

If you've been looking for how to install a CB radio, ham radio, GMRS radio, scanner, or other two-way radio in your RAM, this is a great option. It attaches securely to the console between the cup holders in the sliding tray. The mount is easily removable if you want the radio out of the way, but it maintains a strong connection to the console when in use.

The Mounting Plate is 14 gauge steel, powder-coated black. The Mount Base is a printed part made of ABS.

Getting Started

To use the radio mount:

Use the 1/4” hardware ((2) button head cap screws, (2) square nuts, (2) washers) to secure the Mounting Plate to the Mount Base at your desired height.
Use the #10 hardware ((2) screws, (2) lock nuts, (4) washers) to bolt your OEM radio bracket that came with your radio to the Mounting Plate.
Install your radio on the OEM radio bracket.
Press the mount onto the space between the cup holders in the sliding tray in the console. Once the mount is seated, ensure the button pops back out to its locked position – this locks both the mount and the sliding tray in place.

Installation is easy and no hardware or drilling is required to attach the Mount Base to the console.

works as stated

The mount for the radio works as it is designed. You still have access to push the button to operate the sliding tray. Of course you loose the ability to close it all the way, however the radio and mount can be removed if that position is required.
If anyone has way to run the wires please let me know in the comments. I am always willing to learn new ways of doing things.

Skymo Radio Mount Ram 2500

Excellent product, and fast shipping. Modified mine slightly for a head-only mount by not using the supplied radio bracket. Instead, mounted a small piece of 16 gauge sheet metal bent about a 45 degree angle mounting the head unit directly to the Skymo mount.

Great cb mount for this type of center console

Waited a while for a molded cb mount for this style center console. I used the adjustable mount for a while but due to the adjustable button i had to use a piece of cardboard as a wedge to stop the console from moving back and forth, now thanks to this new mount my console properly locks into place and dosen't move. Also love the no drill instalation literally took less than five minutes to install.

i love this. i have been waiting for at least 6 years, since i owned the truck, for someone to come out with something like this. i have tried multiple different mounts, yes they worked but just not what i wanted until now. very easy install and easy removal incase i need to you that storage spot. as i type this i am debating on using the larger cb again or continue to use the compact one i have mounted now.
