Fitment Notes
This radio mount fits select 2013+ RAM trucks that have the split bench seat and flip-up center console, as shown in the photos. This version of the flip-up center console is found in the following RAM models:
- 2013-2024 RAM 1500 Classic
- 2013-2025 RAM 2500 (including Power Wagon)
- 2013-2025 RAM 3500
- 2013-2025 RAM 4500
To ensure proper fitment, make sure your console and cup holders match what is shown in the photos exactly - it should have three cup holders and the center seat should flip up.
Description
If you've been looking for how to install a CB radio, ham radio, GMRS radio, scanner, or other two-way radio in your RAM, including Classic and Power Wagon models, this is a great option. The mount is easily removable if you want the radio out of the way, but it maintains a strong connection to the console when in use.
The Mounting Plate is 14 gauge steel, powder-coated black. The Mount Base is a 3D printed part made of ABS.

Getting Started

To use the radio mount:
- Use the 1/4” hardware ((2) button head cap screws, (2) square nuts, (2) washers) to secure the Mounting Plate to the Mount Base at your desired height.
- Use the #10 hardware ((2) screws, (2) lock nuts, (4) washers) to bolt your OEM radio bracket that came with your radio to the Mounting Plate.
- Install your radio on the OEM radio bracket.
- Press the mount onto your center console cup holder. The mount fits the middle cup holder only.
Installation is easy and no hardware or drilling is required to attach the Mount Base to the console.

Fits radio good and holds tight on center console
I was looking for an economical but stylish way to mount my CB radio in my Ram 2500. Initially, I had made a stand that sat on the transmission hump but it wouldn't stay in place when cornering or on rough roads. Then I found the Skymo mount! Almost perfect! The only issue I have with it is that it will only mount using the center cup holder. I'd prefer it to be able to mount in one of the side cup holders so I could have the CB closer to the driver's seat. As that is my only complaint and I realize it's personal preference, so I give the Skymo radio mount 4 stars!

Does not fit the 2025 Ram 1500. They changed the configuration of the center console cup holders such that the hook won’t fit in the middle between the cup holders such
Hi Walt, You are correct that this product is not compatible with your 2025 Ram 1500, as noted in the product description. The console must have three cup holders and match the photos in the listing to be compatible. The updated console in your 2025 only has two cup holders and is different from what’s shown in the photos. If you have any feedback on what we could have done to have helped you understand compatibility better I’d love to hear it, as I’m always trying to improve things.

Very simple to install. One of the best mounts I’ve ever used and at a very reasonable price. Took less than 3 minutes to install my radios with no drilling.
Very sturdy. When we are on wildland fires with the dozers my service trucks are primarily off road too, and this radio mount is standing up very well to the task at hand!! And I’ve got two radios mounted to it!!
